The Ladies left Cameroon on Sunday 19th November 2017.In the build up to the Championship that begins 1st through 17th December,2017 the team was engaged in preparation.The Head Coach, of the Handball Lionesses Jean-Marie Zambo says the team goes to camped in Poland before taking off for Germany.During this period, the technical crew hopes to focus on fitness exercises, ball distribution and scoring tactics amongst others.The Lionesse took part in test games with local clubs during their one month training  before leaving for Poland for more intensive training.The ladies\' opener game in Germany is scheduled for 1st December 2017.The Cameroon representatives  are in group D alongside the Netherlands,  host country Germany, Serbia, South Korea and China.Cameroon occupied the third place at 2016 African Championship. This is the country’s second participation at the World Women’s Championship. The team was placed 22nd of 24 teams during the first expedition in the 2005 Championship.Germany hosts the competition for the second time; in 1965 and 1997.Benly Anchunda
