The Minister represented Cameroon, while the Chinese Ambassador to Cameroon, Wei Wenhua signed for the People\'s Republic of China.The first of the three agreements target the second phase of portable water supply in five cities; Maroua, Garoua, Dschang, Garoua- Boulai and Yabassi. This will cost CFA53.5 billion francs.The first phase of this project worth CFA85 billion francs was executed in 2013 and endowed some cities including Bamenda, Bafoussam, Kribi and Sangmelima with portable water.The Second agreement signed this Monday 25th September in Yaounde will finance the E- government project and the E-verification system.The sum of CFA 19.5 billion francs will be allotted for theconstruction and rehabilitation of water reservoirs and the extension of the water supply network to the five chosen cities.The last of the three projects worth CFA 8.3 billion francs will be used for the construction of the new headquarter of Cameroon\'s National Assembly.Ambassador Wei Wenhua revealed that the new National Assembly headquarter to be constructed is a gift from the Chinese government.Minister Louis Paul Motaze expressed gratitude to the Government of the Peoples Republic of China describing the agreement as an example of South-South cooperation.Kathy Neba Sina Intern
