This information was announced in a press conference in Yaounde this 21st September 2017.The Director of Exhibitions at the anniversary celebration and owner of the Artiren fashion house, Irene Sossa Fampou says the event shall be highlighted by exhibitions to celebrate Africa as a continent.Exclusively, African artists from all domains and stylists will be exhibiting at the event to run from 9th through 15th October 2017."Ubuntu" meaning service to humanity in the Nguini Bantu language, is the traditional village to host the event. It shall be set up at the courts of the Yaounde Conference Centre.Over one hundred artists grouped in different domains of activity will take part in this event.The drinks, the music for fashion parade and the artists performing, shall all be African inline with the role of CERDOTOLAReknowned African artists like Ismaela and XMaleya will be present alongside budding artists.Thirty models have been selected to parade and exhibit the work of stylists like Pepita of Benin, Gilles Touré of Cote d'Ivoire, Anggy Haïf of Cameroon and Ejiro Amos of Nigeria, amongst others.Irene Sossa says entry to the exhibition village will be free or  atleast very affordable, so many will have the opportunity to enjoy the rich African culture on display.The Communication Officer of CERDOTOLA, Theophile Tatsitsasays the event will be organised in nine modules.- Meetings of culture ministers, culture institution heads and traditional authorities.- CERDOTOLA 2017 International Conference- Grand Cultural Exhibition in the Ubuntu village- Parade in African designs- Traditional competitions and games- Special CERTODOLA nights- Meeting of Executive Bureau of the International Music Council- Closing Gala and award of prizesHe says the highpoint to kickstart the event will be the parade of African traditional leaders.Other aspects of the anniversary celebration will be communicated in subsequent press briefings with the Executive Director of CERDOTOLA.The International Centre for Research and Documentation on African Traditions and Languages known by its French acronym, CERDOTOLA, is an inter-state institution of scientific cooperation for the preservation and broadcast of the African Cultural Heritage.It was created in 1977 with headquarters in Yaounde, Cameroon.Eleanor Ayuketah
