The donation was officially handed this Wednesday 21st June 2017 by the Ambassador of Israel to Cameroon, His Excellency Ran Gidor in the presence of the Minister of Secondary Education, Jean Ernest Masina Ngalle Bibehe, a Representative of Higher Education Minister, the Roaving Ambassador His Excellency Albert Roger Milla; staff and students of the institution.While handing over the gifts, Mr. Ran Gidor called on students to use the computers to improve on their skills in th ICTs.Apart from improving on ICT aptitude of the School, the Ambassador also stated his intentions to assist the country improve on its digital technology through the establishment of more advanced projects in the Israeli Hitech centre situated at Polytechnic in Yaounde.The Staff of the school through the Director Madame Bivina Jeannette expressed gratitude to the Isreali government, they said the offer will give an added value to the Commercial and Industrial engineering department of the School.The donation was part of activities organised by the embassy to mark the Israeli Nationacoolers,On 22nd April 2017, the Embassy visited Orphans and children in distress in Yaounde taking along food, medication and toys. On 19th May 2017 in collaboration with the Roger Milla Foundation of "Coeur D'Afrique" the Embassy donated sewing machines, hair dressing equipment, computers, coolers, spinners to women with disabilities.Similar donations were also made to children suffering with sickle cell. etc.Irene Mbang Tata
