The mortal remains of the late Director General of the Cameroon Television (CTV) now Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) Florent Etoga Eily has been removed from the yaounde General Hospital mortuary.A special service was organised for the pioneer director of the CRTV at the mortuary chapel yesterday where he was laid in state.This took place in the presence of family members, some government officials, friends and sympathisers who all paid their last respects to the deceased.The head of state president Paul Biya was personally represented by the Minister in charge of Special Duties at the presidency, Philippe Mbarga Mboa.Among the mourners were those who worked closely with him in the days of the CTV.The present Central Director of Radio, Alain Belibi who worked with the late Mr Etoga says he was a boss of substance. “He was of very high intellect and very good with words. He had a very high vision for the CRTV. If he had achieved all the plans he had for the CRTV in his time as Director General, the CRTV would have been at a very competitive level more than it already is. He was an extraordinary man.”Emmanuel Njakai; “Mr Florent Etoga Eily was the first Director General of the CRTV, he had a very high esteem of himself and his work. He gave all his time and devotion to the CRTV when he served.”The present Director General of the CRTV also gave his views saying that the late Florent Etoga Eily has left a Legacy that will never be erased in the history of the corporation.  Mr Florent Etoga Eily who passed away on February 17 2018 will be buried in his native Soa in the Mefou and Afamba Division this Saturday.Bruno Ndonwie Funwie
