The Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze signed a communique announcing government’s plan to begin payment of internal debts and other financial commitments as from 4th April 2018.The exercise holds for government’s debts contracted in 2016 financial year and previous years.According to the communiqué, the payment is upon instructions from the Head of State. In all, the sum of 32,457,198,527FCFA has been set aside to clear the internal  debts.# Individuals : 905 117 217 FCFA # State Service Providers: 13 403 910 378 FCFA # Subventions: 5 380 504 095 FCFA # Contributions: 3767 666 837FCFA # counterpart funds: FCFAThe debt payment plan of the 2017 financial year has been designed to clear the debts owed service providers, state contractors and all entities ( regional and local administrative authorities and public enterprises).Special programs have been drwn for payments to be made through  the treasury counter , those of the autonomous sinking fund and the road fund.The state exhorts the beneficiaries to use the funds to create more jobs and generate fiscal revenue. Kathy Neba Sina
