Crtv is on top of the chart of traditional media viewer ratings in Cameroon for a third consecutive time. Mediametrie just released the finding of a study carried out between the period of 10th September 2017 to 5th February 2018.The study was carried out in four cities ; Douala, Yaoundé, Bamenda and Bafoussam. According to the results, 43% of youths from 15 years own a telephone. 48% of the sample population said they were on Internet the previous night.The same study carried out in 2017 put the figure at 47% .64.6% of the group are subscribers on Facebook, Google + , Instagram and Twitter. On television, it is said 76% of the interviewees watched television averagely once per week contrary to 83.5% of last year. With regards to the duration of time spent on Television, the average is 4hours 43minutes per week ; a 34minutes increase from last year. According to the study, fewer Cameroonians watch TV or listen to radio compared to those who use the internet.Three TV channels feature at the top of the chart; # CRTV Television # Canal 2 # Novelas TVThese channels got between 1-3 million audience daily from Monday to Sunday.The radio audience rating witnessed a drop. Five out of ten people of the sample group listened to the radio on an average of 2hours 30minutes a day.Three stations that are most listened are:# Crtv Radio # RFI # Balafon FM The three radio stations got 50% of the audience.Mediametrie worked with a local media platform, Sewcemetrie .
