Thousands of Catholic faithful who converged at the Our Lady of Victory Cathedral for the Easter mass celebration were urged to share the Peace and joy of Easter by upholding God’s commandments. This was in a homily by the archbishop of the Yaounde Archdiocese His Grace Jean Mbarga.He called on Christians to denounce anything that is against God’s will as witnesses to the resurrection miracle.To the youth, His Grace Jean Mbarga preached against drug abuse, calling on them to refrain from violence and be of upright civic behaviour.The Archbishop also called on the Christians to stand for justice and promote social cohesion in their various communities.Talking about the 2018 electoral year in Cameroon, the archbishop urged his Christians to register and vote as a matter of civic responsibility.His Grace Jean Mbarga together with the Christians prayed for peace to reign in Cameroon and asked them to channel their petitions through the Virgin Mary, Queen of the Apostles. Bruno Ndonwie Funwie
